Behind the Lens: A Celebration of Refugee Storytelling

Photographs stop time, giving you a moment to think, to react, to feel, to soak in the details of complicated situations. As we celebrate World Refugee Day, we will meet the photographers behind the lens and hear their perspective on the power of photography in telling the refugee story. 

Featuring:

• Lucian Perkins: two-time Pulitzer Prize-winner and former staff photographer at The Washington Post, Lucian has covered wars and refugee crises around the world. More recently, his work focuses on resettled refugee communities in the U.S. 
• Sebastian Rich: a long-time war and humanitarian photographer who has worked countless times with UNHCR, covering refugee crises around the world.
• Anne-Marie Grey, Executive Director and CEO of USA for UNHCR
